Although Joint Tenancy with Right of Survivorship (JTWROS) is the predominant variation, and the usual state law default for joint deposit accounts, you might also see Joint Tenancy without Right of Survivorship (JTWOROS), in which a deceased owner's interest would become part of his/her estate, and Tenancy by the Entirety (T by E), which is a form of JTWROS reserved for spouses.
