How Does One Unfreeze an Account?

How do I get my account unfrozen after two years? It was frozen by an attorney over a disputed bill which has since been paid.

You'd be amazed, since you're having a problem with a two-year-old document, at how many times the underlying matter had been resolved legally, and the law office simply had not gotten around to releasing the attachment. Even if the customer knows the matter has been resolved, he/she doesn't think to ask us about tied-up funds.

Contact the attorney and ask for a release of your bank account balance. He or she may simply have forgotten to take care of that important little detail. Ask your bank exactly where the release should be delivered to ensure that it will receive prompt attention.
