I am an international student in the USA. My parents want to send me the fees for the current semester through wire transfer. I have a bank account in the [name omitted]. My parents will be sending the money through Thomas Cook. Thomas Cook is asking for a SWIFT Code, but [name omitted], being a national bank doesn't have one. What do you think I should do now? Do your national banks just work on routing numbers without SWIFT codes?

U.S. banks that handle high volumes of international money transfers often participate in the SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) network. However, the majority of U.S. banks do not deal directly with SWIFT.
Ask your bank how it normally receives wire transfers from outside the U.S. Often, such transfers are sent first to a correspondent bank with international wire transfer access, via SWIFT. If you obtain the bank routing number used by your bank for routing wire transfer instructions, Thomas Cook, which has tremendous expertise in handling international money transfers, should have no problem getting the funds to your account.
