Removing Name from Joint Account

Can my husband remove my name from a joint checking account in Florida without my permission?

Untitled

Yes, he can. Most banks won't remove a name from an account. There are chances for error if a check comes in signed by the person no longer on the account when was the check written, but what any of the owners can do is close one account and open another in their name alone, so the effect is the same.
