Setting up an Account for Child Support Deposits

My military job has file records of my ex-husband's bank account. I set up an allotment for child support to my daughter (support order in place) using his account information. He was not willing to disclose it, so I had my pay office set it up anyway. He told me he doesn't want anything from me, but she is my responsibility, so he said I shouldn't have done this. Can he go after me legally?

Making deposits to an account and paying the court ordered support is not a problem. Violating one's privacy by accessing company information you had no right to could be a separate legal issue, which cannot be addressed here. If your ex wants no support, the court order should be amended. Otherwise, you should send a check each month for the required support.
