Withdrawals from My Account by Another

Can someone take money out of my account if I give them my account number or my debit card number?

Untitled

Did you intend to authorize the withdrawal of funds when you provided the number? If so, and if the bank is identified, it's possible.

If you are concerned that you may have given an account number or card number to someone who may use it to take funds from your account without your permission, quickly contact your bank, explain that you were tricked into releasing the information, and ask to have your card and/or account reopened with a new number.
