Getting Funds Returned After Investigation

I'm not sure if you would be able to help me, but I hope you will. My bank account was closed because of a criminal investigation. There was money in it. The investigation is now over and the bank will not return the money. What steps should I follow to get this money back? I have attempted to talk to a supervisor, who said the bank has nothing to do with it.

It's possible that the account was attached, frozen or seized pursuant to a legal process initiated by the investigating agency or authority. Assuming that is the case, you should be able to contact that agency or office and ask that it release its interest in your account or return the seized funds to you.
