How do I set up an account where deposits can be made from a third party without the third party having access to the deposits without my permission?
There are many different ways to accomplish what you wish. Talk to the bank where you want to open the account. Ask about direct deposit of payroll (if that is what you're discussing) or how to allow a third party to make deposits to the account. Be warned, however; third-party access, even on a deposit only basis, can be cause for problems if any checks deposited by that third party are returned unpaid.
