Can a banker determine if I have an account at another bank if I do not tell him?
Untitled
Certainly, banks report information to credit bureaus. That is most often about loans, but a depositaccount can become a loan and reportable as well. They may also see a credit bureau inquiry. There are other ways, but that is the most common. If the meaning of the question is do banks routinely share information on new accounts/owners with one another, the answer is no.
