Depositing into Someone Else's Account

Can I deposit money into an account that is not my own in a bank in which I don't have an account?


Possibly, some banks don't knowingly permit it unless they are aware of prior arrangements. The concern is that by having their customer's account number, you could theoretically take over the account and withdraw funds that aren't yours.
