I had an issue with a bank and it wasnt resolved. I owe them money if I open another account at another bank. Will I get in trouble for fraud?
No, but you should resolve the dispute with the other bank. If they have reported the relationship as one where you owe them funds, it is possible another bank will not want to hold your account. That is another reason to get this resolved.
