Can I Put Inheritance in 10 Year Old's Account?

I am currently in ChexSystems and cannot open a bank account until I am finished paying off the bank. However, my elderly father wants to give me the funds in his bank upon his death. I have a ten year old daughter. Is there any way she can sign the signature card instead of me, or is there any other way I can work around this.

Your 10-year old may or may not be able to own an account. It depends on what your state laws are. If you do put the funds in her account, she is the actual owner of the funds. If you are signed on the account, you'd both own the funds. Think about using those funds to repay the bank so that you don't have to worry about this issue any longer.
