Account Frozen for Ninety Days! What to do?

My bank account has been frozen for over ninety days, I have not been made aware of why, or provided with any of the necessary documents. I have contacted the bank everyday; however, no one has provided me with any assistance. I have filed complaints with the FDIC, OCC, and attorney general. I just want to have access to my funds, can anyone help me?

It is surprising that your bank has not given you an explanation, regardless of the reason for the hold on your funds. Have you contacted the bank's security department to see if it is involved in the block on your account?

Holds of such duration are sometimes caused by garnishments. Do you have a creditor that may have obtained a court order to garnish, attach or freeze funds in your account? Is it possible that you share a name with one of the thousands of individuals listed by the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control as a "specially designated national" whose assets must be blocked?

You deserve an answer concerning why your funds are tied up by the bank. If the bank refuses to provide one, you should look for legal counsel.
