Finding Out Where I Bank

Is there a way a banker or interested person can search online to find out where a person banks?

Yes and no, if a person is authorized to do credit checks, that can indicate where an account was or is, but there are laws as to when this can be obtained and penalties if those laws are broken. A person cannot just search your name or address and find out where you bank.

If you receive a check from someone and deposit it to your account, that person can determine where the check was cashed, and where you bank. Some people will post accolades or complaints about their bank online or even in a social media site like Facebook. Those results may be searchable, but there is no central database that can be used for this, and certainly the records are not available online for individual banks.
