Depositing Large Amounts of Cash

I recently inherited a large amount of cash. How much can I deposit at any one time?

Untitled

It's unusual to inherit cash. Usually, inheritances of money come in the form of checks or wire transfers or other non-cash modes.

You deposit as much as you wish at one time. Some banks might have a limit on accounts of one individual, but that's also unusual.

If you are wondering whether your cash deposit would be reported by the bank, take a look at an earlier Q&A on the subject.
