I discovered an ATMwithdrawal on my checking account that I did not make. My card was not stolen and no one knows my PIN. I notified the bank and they said they have to investigate it. What are the chances of getting my money back?

The chances are actually pretty good. The bank needs to see if it can get a photo of whoever made the withdrawal, and/or compare the location of the ATM with your prior ATM use history. The bank should know that "skimmed" ATM cards can get duplicated by fraud artists, and use of a duplicate card would make the withdrawal unauthorized. Don't accept any answer from the bank that "because you still have the card, you must have made the withdrawal." That simply isn't true, because of card skimming fraud. In fact, if the bank agrees that the withdrawal wasn't authorized, you should get all your money back.
You were smart to check your account and report that ATM withdrawal.Everyone shuld do that, preferably on their banks' online banking website, where they can see transactions the day they post, rather than waiting until they get a bank statement.
