What is difference between debit card and an ATM card?
Untitled
An ATM card normally provides access to a range of services available at a bank's ATMs such as withdrawals, transfers, balance inquiries and perhaps deposits. Most ATM cards can also be used at many other banks' ATMs to access a more limited set of services. Deposits are often not permitted at other banks' machines.
A debit card typically has all the functionality of an ATM card plus the ability to pay for purchases of goods or services at merchants who accept it. Most debit cards are issued with access to either MasterCard or Visa, making them useful for purchases at merchants worldwide.
