Bank Takes Fees for Personal Loan from Business

I have a letter of credit for a lien that was placed on my house by the builder. It is now time to renew the letter and the banker is threatening to take the yearly fees from my business account without my permission. Is this legal?

Whether it is legal or not will depend on the terms of the letter of credit, whether it is issued in the name of the business or if it's issued in your name, whether your business is a sole proprietorship.
