No Checking Account for Corporation

I received a check for an active corporation I own. I don't have a checking account for this corporation. Can I take the check to bank it was written on and cash it?

Almost all banks have policies against cashing checks payable to businesses, so you probably cannot do this. Your bank is likely to require that you open an account for the corporation before accepting the check.
