I have a business located in Australia that I would like to expand to the US. I have a number of US merchants interested in selling my products, but I don't have a US bank account that would allow these merchants to pay me in US dollars. Is there any way that I can set up an account at a US bank for my Australian company? I need to be able to receive funds in US dollars as well as pay some expenses in US dollars.
Contact a bank and ask, preferably a bank that has locations in both the U.S. and Australia. That may make it easier if you have no offices in the U.S.
