Getting a Line of Credit for Business

I'm starting a business and want a line of credit. I have $50,000 in the bank. How much of a line of credit could I get?

A lender will consider a lot more than the amount you have on deposit. You will need to provide the lender with a business plan, including cash flow and other projections. Be sure to include information on your own experience, too, particularly any experience in the line of business into which you want to get involved. You should also know that lenders have very different criteria for risk when it comes to lending, so the amount of credit available will vary, too.
