My mother had a CD with her four children, who are also listed on the CD. Do we (the children) have a right to see the CD and to see how it was set up (Mother or child or child; mother, child or child, etc.)?
Those who are listed as owners can ask the bank how it is titled. You may not be able to actually see the CD, however. Many banks haven't actually issued paper CDs for years. It is all electronic with a receipt and disclosures provided at opening serving as notice of the terms.
