No LDPS on My CD: What is this?

On a recent CD which I had set up as POD to our children, were the letters: "no LDPS", what does this mean?

Given the context, the phrase probably means "no lineal descendants per stirpes." An estate planning attorney can give you a more detailed explanation, but it essentially means that if one of your named beneficiaries dies before you, his or her share of the account would not go to his or her children. Instead, it would be split among the surviving named beneficiaries on the CD account.
