My automatically renewable CD matures next month while I'm on vacation. I understand there is a 10-day grace period after maturity for me to make a decision about whether to renew or not. My question is, if I do renew near the end of the 10 days when I get back, will I get interest for those days in the grace period?
Yes! The grace period just gives you some wiggle room, timewise, to decide whether you want to renew or not. If you do renew, then yes, interest will be considered to have accrued during the grace period.
