Depositing to My Sister's Account

Will a bank allow me to deposit money into my sister's account? She is having difficulty, but will not accept money from me, so I thought I could just deposit some money into her account at the branch. I know the account number, but I do not want to get in trouble for doing this in case they realize I am not her.

That's a generous gesture on your part. If you simply tell the bank that you want to deposit money to your sister's account and tell them you have her account number, the bank should have no problem with it if you make the deposit in cash. The bank might be wary if you wanted to deposit a check.
