I recently deposited my payroll check into my checking account. I got $100.00 back in cash. I dont remember getting my deposit slip, and the next day when I checked my account online it wasn't there. I contacted my bank and they said they didn't have a record of my deposit. Hopefully this is just a mistake made by the teller, but if it's not, and there is something illegal going on, such as the teller stealing from me, would all this be on video or some way of showing our transaction. This wasn't at the drive through; it was inside the bank.

We can certainly understand your concern, and we urge you not to panic, because the lack of a receipt is almost always an oversight in such situations. Hopefully, this is the case for you.
In many banks there are video surveillance cameras that record activity behind the teller line as well as individuals who approach the teller line. If you take a positive stance: "I am sure it was an oversight, but I really need you to look more carefully for my paycheck or to review your security camera recordings to see what actually happened", you are likely to get cooperation.
You can also start from the other direction by asking your employer for a copy of the front and back of your paycheck once it has been paid. That may provide your bank trace document information to figure out what happened.
For others who read about your problem this should be a reminder to pay careful attention when you complete transactions at the bank. If you make a deposit, make doubly sure you have a receipt from the teller before you leave the window.
