My bank account was frozen after a check was deposited for $7000. The bank admits it was an accident, and they keep telling me it will be unfrozen on a specific day. When that day arrives, it is still frozen. This has been going on for over a month. I even got a written guarantee and it still has not happened. What can I do to get them to unfreeze my account?

It's unusual for a bank to string someone along as you've described, and you should talk to someone in the organization that can either explain why your access to the account has been delayed or get the matter resolved without further excuses.
