Taxes for Checking Account Over 10K?

Will the bank notify the IRS if my checking account exceeds $10.000? I'm a salaried employee and I make deposits weekly. Should I pay taxes if I exceed the $10.000?

The balance in your account, while it may reflect your income indirectly, also reflects the effects of your spending (or lack of it). It is not relevant for taxation purposes. Your taxes are based on income, not assets.
