Obtaining Past Joint Account Statements

My daughter recently signed off of a joint checking account she had with her fiance. Can she get the bank statements for the period she was on the account?

She'll have to ask the bank. Some banks will take the position that she has a right to statements for months during which she was an account owner. Other may say that she no longer has rights to the statements now that she is not an account owner. There is likely to be a charge for account research and for statement copies.
