I need my 2007 check images for taxes. I have an extension to file taxes, but they are due this month and I have asked the bank (account closed since 12/31/07)for the check images over the past month now, but do not have them. Am I going about this the wrong way?

Have you called the bank to ask if there is a problem retrieving the images? A month seems like much more than enough time for a routine request for check copies. If you are getting a run-around, talk to a supervisor, because you should have had your copies by now unless the bank is having a problem finding and printing them. In the meantime, if there are images you will need to complete your taxes for 2008, get your request in sooner, rather than later.
