Can you tell me where I can find information regarding states that require open dates to be printed on checks?

The major check printing companies, such as Deluxe and Harland/Clarke, undoubtedly know, but they don't make the information available for security reasons. In addition to possible state requirements, individual banks may have a policy of printing account opening dates on checks.
