Lost Cashier's Check: What to do?

I lost a cashier's check that was in my name. I live in a state that has adopted UCC 3.312. What happens if the check is cashed (not by me) before the enforceable period (90 days after the date the check was issued)? Can I still get another check, or my money?

If the check was endorsed by you before you lost it, you could be out of luck, but if it was not, and you can prove that an endorsement purporting to be yours is a forgery, you should still be able to get reimbursed.
