About Stop Pay on a Cashier's Check

If I get a cashier's check from bank #1 and cash it at bank #2, can bank #1 stop payment on it?

Bank #1 could attempt to refuse payment, but Bank #2 would have the legal right to force Bank #1 to pay it and whatever it cost Bank #2 to collect it. If the check was originally issued in error, Bank #1 would have the right to pursue you legally for reimbursement.
