Does the 'c/o' Need to Endorse?

If a payee on a check is listed as "name c/o name", do both names need to be endorsed on the back or just the first one?

The c/o symbol is an indication the check was mailed "in care of" that person or business, not that the person or business is a co-payee on the check, so only the first name need be endorsed.
