Depositing Check Made Out to Spouse

Can my wife deposit a check that is made out to me into our joint account?

In most cases, your wife would be able to deposit the check to a joint account. A bank can accept a check for deposit to the check payee's account without the payee's endorsement. In addition, many banks' joint account agreements include specific language allowing each joint owner to endorse and/or deposit checks payable to the other joint owners of the account. Check with the bank holding your joint account to get a specific answer.
