Cashing a Check with a Deceased Joint Payee

My mother-in-law received a stimulus check made out to her and her deceased husband. Can you tell me how she can cash this check?

The check will need to be endorsed by her husband's estate, in the person of its representative, the executor or administrator. It will also have to be endorsed by your mother-in-law.
