Cashing a Foreign Check

I am going to receive a check for 650 from another country. Will my credit union cash it, or should I deposit it into my checking account there?

You will have to ask your credit union. If the check is drawn in U.S. dollars, but not on a U.S. bank, it's likely the credit union will have to send the check for collection, and will neither cash it nor accept it for deposit. If the check is not drawn in U.S. dollars, it's virtually certain the credit union won't accept it for deposit or cash it.
