When I back out all my NSFchecks, they say NSF, but some say Closed Account. What does this mean?
The checks stamped "account closed" were drawn on accounts that have either been closed by the customer or been closed by the paying banks, often for account mishandling. In either case, you should not plan to re-deposit those checks, since they will never be good.
