I just found a company check from 2006. Am I still able to cash it?
The bank that the check is drawn on could refuse to pay it because it's more than six months old. If you go ahead and deposit it, it could bounce and cause you problems, and cost you money in fees for depositing a bad check. Try to get the issuing company to reissue it. That's the conservative route.
