An insurance claim check is made payable to two individuals and the business which they own. Can the check be deposited in their personal account, or does it have to be deposited to the business account?
If the check is properly endorsed by all payees, it can be deposited into an account of any of the payees. It's clear it cannot be deposited to both the individual and business accounts, so a choice between the two has to be made.
