Several months ago I cashed a check someone wrote to me. I don't have this person's information anymore and want to contact him. I know his information is on his check. Is there a way to track this check down?
If you deposited the check to your account, your bank should be able to provide you a copy if you supply the date of the deposit. If you actually cashed the check, go ahead and ask the bank where you cashed it. However, even knowing the date may not be enough for the bank to retrieve a copy.
