I've just been wondering. I started playing the Powerball Lottery game, and have been thinking about what I would do when I do win this big lump sum of money. When I win the lotto, do I just go to my bank and deposit it like I would with any other checks? I'd like to share my money with friends and family, so I was wondering if writing a check for a million dollars is valid or are there some fancy steps you have to take? I'd like to know ahead of time just in case this does happen to me.
