What to do with Undated Check

I received a personal check payable to me, but the issuer forgot to date it. The date is blank. Can I deposit it as is, or do I need to contact them so they can fix it?

You can legally insert the date on the check before you deposit it. The check will be properly payable when it hits the bank on which it's drawn.
