My landlord sent me a check with four names on it. There were four people renting the place. Will there be a problem cashing it if we all endorse it, and do we all have to be there at the bank?
This question can only be answered by the bank. If the word "and" is used anywhere in that payee list, it's certain that all four of you will have to endorse the check, but don't do so until you've determine what the bank's policy is.
