Can Remitter get Account Info?

If I receive a check from a bank in a different state, can the remitter get information from my bank account while the check is being cleared?

If you deposit a check in your account, there is no reason for your bank to release any information about your account. The transaction in question is the deposited check. Was it cashed by the proper payee and did it clear? The only information they may get is based on what was written on the back of the check when you cashed or deposited it. Often your account number is annotated there. They can see that when they get the check, or a copy of it, with their statement.
