Cashing Check without Bank Account

I just received a check from my IRA account, but I do not have a bank account. How can I cash it?

First, you should consider opening a bank account. This IRA check may be the easiest way to get this done. Having a bank account can obviously work to your benefit. You can shop around and find a bank that requires a minimal deposit to avoid all fees. Without a bank account, you are likely subjected to a check cashing company and whatever fees they charge.
