Is there a maximum as to how many payees to which a check can be made payable?
Theoretically, there is no limit. Of course there is a practical limit both to the space in which to name the payees and to the ability of the payees to coordinate endorsements if you require that all must endorse. Don't forget that there is only a small area on the back of the check for endorsements.
