A company requested a cashier's check for a payment. Do I endorse the check before I mail it?

Hopefully, you requested that the check be payable to the company itself. If so, you should not endorse it.

If you had the check issued payable to yourself, you can endorse it as follows before mailing it:

Pay to [name of the company]
Your signature
