Credit Card Problems: Open Another Elsewhere?

If one has a financial problem with a credit card company and is afraid of them freezing a bank account, is it a good idea to find an account in another state?



We won't offer advice on avoiding your legitimate obligations; however, if you have not already done so, you should contact the credit card issuer to discuss your financial problems. Failing to communicate with the hope a problem will disappear is both unrealistic and ill-advised.
