Bank Error and Accusation Cause Credit Problem

My bank sent the wrong envelope to me in a drive thru lane. I never opened it. The teller got it and then debited my account for money, saying I owed them more because money was missing. I don't know how to handle this situation, because a bank did that to me, and I have been fighting non-stop for almost two years. They put that account on my credit report, when I was a minor, and they are refusing to resolve this. They insist I pay for a crime I did not commit. Please tell me what I can do or need to do, because this is really hurting my credit and I am being affected directly by it from other banks.

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you can contact the credit bureaus that have this negative information and add your own statement, contesting what the bank has reported.
